OIL SEALS TYPE L: Design L2

Oil seal with ground metal outer casing and sealing lip vulcanized onto the metal body. The reversed L-shaped metal insert protects the sealing lip and strengthens the ring.

PRESSURE: Up to 0.5 BAR (0.05 MPa)

USE: Radial Sealing

OUTSIDE Ø: Metal + „L“ shaped metal insert

CONSTRUCTION: Metal casing + "L" shaped metal insert + Sealing lip + Garter spring

Special oil seals 'L' type
Besides the dimensions given in the catalogue, keeping the Inside Diameter (ID = B) and the width of the sealing lip “h”, it will be possible to produce seals with the Outside Diameter (OD = A) and with the seal width “H” as per your request, according to our indications here under:

*up to ø 100	DE = DI + 20	A = B + 20
*from ø 101 to ø 150	DE = DI + 25	A = B + 25
*from ø 151 to ø 300	DE = DI + 30	A = B + 30
*over ø 301	DE = DI + 40	A = B + 40

• B = nominal shaft diameter
• h = width of the sealing lip
• H = seal width (h + minimum 2mm)
